We seek first to serve the Lord in all we do. Through our various ministries, we offer service to God, to each other, and to our community in a variety of ways. We have many organized ministries described below. In addition, we often have many more acts of worship and service to address needs as they arise. Our Public Worship and Prayer ministries are central to our ministries and dedication to our Lord. We meet Sunday mornings at 10:45 a.m. for a time of public worship, which inludes singing, prayer, Bible readings, sermons, and communion. All our welcome. Pastoral ministries include leading the congregation and encouraging them to good works and service. Encouragement to a life of holiness includes caring for those in crisis, blessing the sick, assisting the elderly, and serving those in need. Care for other also includes partnerships with other organizations to help serve our community.
Children’s and Youth Ministries are concerned with the total development of the child from birth through 12thgrade. The Children’s and Youth Ministries team members endeavor to help each child grow physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally and also strive to provide a stimulating, well-equipped, and healthy atmosphere in which each child will grow and learn. Nazarene Youth International (NYI) focuses on supporting and developing our teens in middle and high school, along with their families and friends. The mission of Nazarene Youth International is to call our generation to a dynamic life in Christ. Young people are an integral part of the Church. Nazarene Youth International exists to lead young people into a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ and to facilitate their growth as disciples for Christian service.
Nazarene Missions International (NMI) is the organization for mobilizing the local church in missions in the Church of the Nazarene and the denomination’s representative for missions on the district and in the local church. NMI has four broad objectives:
Discipleship and Family Life Ministries are central to Sunday School and Discipleship Ministries International. The mission of Sunday School & Discipleship Ministries International (SDMI) is to carry out the Great Commission to children, youth, and adults in preparation for a lifetime of being and making Christlike disciples in the nations.
SDMI Ministries include Sunday School and christian education opportunities for all ages. In addition, many other ministries build up our fellowship, including men’s ministries, women’s ministries, children’s ministries, Vacation Bible School, small groups, family life and fellowship ministries, etc. (Don’t pass over the etc. The etc. is packed with all the other activities and opportunities we have in each of our lives, the people we encounter in our neighborhood, at work, at school, and while shopping, traveling, eating, etc.) We strive to let our faith, expressing itself through love, be evident in our words and our deeds in all aspects of our lives.
We all called to share the gospel of Christ with all. We work closely with other ministries to share our faith with a focus on our local community. When you enter our building, we strive to greet you, provide a warm welcome, and address any questions or needs you may have. Our ministry also includes prayer walks through our neighborhoods, service projects, and other activities. We also share our message through various social media.
Maintaining our facilities and grounds facilitates all our ministries. Our facilities and grounds ministries works with the various ministries to provide clean, safe and secure space for their activities. There are numerous opportunities to maintain and improve our grounds and facilities and provide the infrastucture needed to support our mission.
We are called on to be good steward's of our resources. To support our various ministries, we maintain accountability in planning, tracking, and disbursing funds. Additionally, effective administration provides implementation and communication of the various tasks and activities needed to support all ministries.
